Just finished 'Wilderness' by Roddy Doyle. it is about a family who go on holiday to Finland. While the Dad and 18 year old daughter are at home, the two boys and mum are out in the wilderness riding dog sleds. It is a good book, not the best, but worth reading. it doesn't get to the point for a while which some people might not like, but if you like realistic novels that aren't too long then why not try it?

Roddy Doyle has written many other books for children and adults. I haven't yet read 'Greyhound of a Girl' but it looks good and I am planning to soon.
