As well as the Alex Rider series, Horowitz has written many other novels and series'. He wrote The Power Of Five, The Diamond Brothers and many, many more.
But Horowitz's talents don't stop there, oh no! He has also written screen plays like Midsomer Muders.
Anthony Horowitz was born in North London and still lives their today. He has recived many awards for his writing.

Scorpia
Scorpia - 5th in the Alex Rider series. Before you read this book ensure you have read the previous ones.
The book starts of a little oringly, but soon enough Scorpia has dragged the reader in to an action packed world of criminals and lies. This book is truly exellent.
The book ends in a cliff hanger, so as to ensure the reader reads the next books. After Scorpia comes Ark Angel in the explosive series by Anthony Horowitz. This is a book for both boys and girls, so don;t get put off if only the boys in your class have read it.

Mockingjay - 3rd in the Hunger Games series
Just finished the third and final book in the world famous Hunger Games trilogy. This was not the best in the series, but I would still recomend it. But you have to read the first two in the series before you start Mockingjay.
All the way through the book the reader is gripped. However, asn event at the end of the book really got on my nerves, it was just unnesersary to kill **** (I did the name in * so I didn't ruin it for you!).
Ok so, the basic plot. Well war breaks out between the capitol and the districts. People die, and Peeta is captured. But when Peeta gets rescued something isn't right...
the book has an epiloge - which I like in books; it makes the book feel properly finished. In Mockingjay's case it is a two page peek into Katniss' future.
